Very modern, oak, reasonably fresh, rich, smooth, a little creamy; nothing of a specific place to it. Pleasant, tasty but the same as many Cabernet Sauvignon wines from all over the world in the last quarter century. Not a hardship to drink. Didn’t look to see if it is all CS. Label says 13.5% alcohol. I wouldn’t want any more. Opened and drank a glass right away with food. Nothing to complain or cheer about. Would be enjoyable. Don’t expect anything dazzling, specific, or memorable.

The nose was cool-toned yet classic, leading off with savory mint, tart cherry, pencil shavings, hints of undergrowth, dried florals, leather and Tuscan spice. On the palate, I found silky textures, perfectly firmed up by zesty acids, as notes of cherry, herbs and spice were brought to life with a mineral kick toward the finale in a truly savory expression . The finish was long, with a resonating acid-driven brightness, as tart red berries and spices slowly faded amidst partially unresolved tannins. Yet, the 2001 Nemo is, no doubt, in a position to give pleasure to anyone lucky enough to have one in the cellar.

Very nice and huge nose of bacon, roasted meat, cèpes de Bordeaux, sandalwood, iodine... Utterly delicious taste of super sappy tannin, with refreshing ripe strawberries. Lenght of 20 sec, really delicious wine!!

Cork was dry, the flavor started off rather smokey, but developed some balance and character by the following day.
