  First bottle. It was a crowd pleaser at a restaurant. Was open only for about 45 minutes. That was fine. I have been buying O'Shaughnessy Cabernet Sauvignon for many years. This one is right on top on top of prior vintages.

  Seeing the wholesale value on this, what an amazing value. It’s just rich, smooth, chocolatey fine wine. Not overdone like a Caymus. But just good easy drinking wine and a pretty good value. Always dependable and notable.

  Tasted side-by-side with the 2019 vintage. Deep and rich dark cabernet fruit with accents of chocolate and vanilla and oak spice. Medium acidity. Medium tannins. Terrific intensity of both nose and palate right out of the bottle. We preferred the 2019, but only slightly. 91-92

  Appearance: Meidum to dark magenta
  
  Nose: initially got a ton black fruits and blueberry. After a bit of air really shut down
  
  Palate: Blackbery, Blueberry, oak and vanilla
  
  Really tasty Howell Mountain cab needs a good 2+ hour decant. Out of the bottle the dark fruits were great coming from the bottle. 93 points.
