Some notes are quite all over this wine (place), so my 50ct are that this wine is gorgeous. Excellent Puligny Montrachet, ok at 14% abv, not overheated, nice mineral impact, flint stone and buttery Chardonnay without thickness. Intense fruit and adequate minerality. Kudos, well done! Certainly some 10 years to go, excellent now.

Burgundy tasting (K&L Wine Merchant - San Francisco): Nose of beautiful camomile flowers, minus any herbal qualities to it, with a touch of sweet cream, like runny marshmallow without the artificial and dry dustiness. Gentle aromas of fresh, young, uncut guavas as well. All of this seems to be enveloping a center of soft pear note.
Palate matches the nose completely with maybe the addition of some straw. Nice middleweight feel on the palate but missing some verve due to the low acidity (if there’s more, it’s almost too integrated). Might just need to be served at a cooler temp. Favorite white of the lineup.

Tropical fruit, buttery popcorn, I wrote "a weird fruitiness in a good way" but I'm not quite sure what I meant. All in all, I think this was all over the place, quite messy, and I mean this mostly in negative way. Likely due to too young so take this with a grain of salt.

Love it! A good alternative to Etiene Sauzet at a lower price point.
