Gunflint, vanilla oak, citrus and spice on the nose. Palate is ripe with moderate richness and intensity. It is layered and penetrating. Really enjoy the young DJP white for its toned down oak treatment and flinty sensation.

At the advice of a friend, decanted this which opened up the wine given the power of the 2017 white burgundy vintage. Light golden color, nose of perfumed citrus fruits, stones, minerals, and even marzipan. On the palate after circa an hour in the decanter lots of zesty perfumed and honeyed citrus fruits, almost slutty texture, fat but also very fresh and mineral with a long finish. Paired extremely well with crab.

More citrus, exotic fruit and flint on the nose versus the previous bottle. Palate is round and full with good mineral attack, alongside a touch of vanilla toast. An excellent Puligny PC that is so all-rounded.

Drink right after opening the bottle. It tastes good even without decanting. Aroma of stone, flint. Mineral and reductive with a touch of creamy taste.

Gorgeous nose with gunflint, citrus, mint and yellow fruit. Palate has very good minerality and precision with abundant acidity. It is so refined and seductive. DJP used to make more woody and buttery whites, but it clearly has changed into a more crowd-pleasing reductive style. 92+
