  I have had a coulpe of vintages of this wine recently. The 97 and 01 were still good. This vintage, 02, was past it. A very tertiary cab sab. Port-like characteristics, quite brown in colour, taste of dried fruit, that barnyard smell I associate with hay. I have one bottle left. Hopefully it fared better.

  Medium to dark cherry in color. Still has some good fruit, light to medium tannin. Should definitely drink it now.

  Colour was a tad orangy, nose still strong, touches of green peppers on the palate, like an Ontario Cabernet Franc?? Still held up very nicely, very good with bavette de cheval marinée au chocolat. Drank rest following day, still holding up strong.
