Two and a half hour decant. Deep dark intense magenta color. Blackberry pie, flourless chocolate cake, pistachio (with husk), cola, and subtle fern. Smooth, dry palate, with velvety, mouth filling acidity. Full tannins on the longish finish.
This has improved a bit since my last bottle (8 or 9 months ago). It’s still youthful and capable of handling a 4+ hour decant. Stayed the same or slightly improved over an hour of drinking.

Seductive aromatics, black and blue dark fruit. Bottle shows crusting, good depth and weight for the price. Recommend finishing the bottle on the first day.
Decanted 3 hrs. Beautifully perfumed nose. Palate was well balanced with dark but not overpowering fruit. Finish was a bit short but still a nice QPR. Will seek out the estate in light of this quality bottling.

Approximately a 1hr decant before this was gulped down by all four diners. Probably could have breathed more. It was beyond a primary stage but a bit shut down and funky. It had a massive core of black fruits - from black cherries, mission figs and sweet stewed plums. Great savouriness as well. Everyone loved smelling their empty glasses while I popped a La Stella Espressivo 2018. There is strong potential here. Will definitely decant earlier and longer, may limit the tasters to two only ;-)
Been a year since the last one.....pnp'd into a decanter 90 min before the HMCs show up for dinner. Deep dark magenta in the glass, almost opaque. Beguiling, perfumed nose develops over that 90 minutes. It's carrying the wine at that point in spite of the palate being silky smooth, dark fruited with excellent balance of tannin and acidity.
Over 2-3 hours during/after dinner it continues to drink very smooth and very balanced. An easy 94 at this point. Not sure if it has more or not, but I have a few more bottles in the cellar, so we'll see over the next couple of years.
