If you are looking for a great value Petite Sirah then Rosenblum is your wine. They do a great PS. Great nose and well balanced with a moderate-long finish. Even aged ten years this has sustained itself and has aged nicely into a delicate and enjoyable wine. Not many other under $20 reds are able to achieve this.

Not a wine designed to age, but after ten years, this one has gained some real depth and maturity that makes it a joy to drink. Still a bit of a fruit bomb, with intense flavors of dark fruits and lots of vanilla. But the fruit is more rounded and integrated than when young, there's a touch of madiera, and an extra layer of elegance. The flavors are still powerful enough to need a good steak, or other grilled red meat, or strong cheese to balance them out and tone them down a little. But properly paired, this wine is excellent now!

(ROSENBLUM PETITE SIRAH HERITAGE CLONES) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-Crème Brulee w/ cherry on top, Mocha/Irish Crème aspect; TASTE-very distinct flavor--more towards the Mocha coffee creamy aspect; very creamy and fruit; over-the-top fruit bomb, but very nice balance on finish; hints of green (dill); GV-89+

Just finishing up my last bottle. Should have drunk it earlier. Still enjoyable, but definitely going downhill. Starting to get a bit oxidized.

Interesting and still good to drink, but over the hill.
