  Celebrating a birthday (Seasons 52): First time with this wine and this grape which is to the Mosel region what Aligote is to the Burgundy region - the forgotten white grape. I didn't know that there were trocken spatlese and I'd say the trocken is more dominant than the spatlese here. Very crisp style. Green apple. It's got a kindof sharpness to it which rounds a bit as it warms up. Fun to get to drink. Out of a 3L and with the most interesting type of bottle that you would never want to try to store in a normal wine storage area.
