  A great coincidence that I cracked this open the same day as the 2021 vintage of this rolled in. Great Pinot with everything going on that you would desire. Lovely fruit with red cherry, a bit of earth and high-toned cassis. Some unique undertones that make it complex and inviting at the same time.

  Deep fruit notes, back end chocolate. Great mouthfeel. Drinking really well

  Huge octane pinot at 15.6%, but time has not been kind. This comes off rather alcoholic without enough acidity to handle the the now aging fruit.

  Cracked last night. Violet-ruby color. Plenty of glycerine. Typical Martinelli nose, show highly extracted fruit aromas and a hint of cola. Sleek, smooth, rich fruit in the mouth, packs a punch as it passes over the tongue. Loads of sweet (yet still dry) ripe fruit. If you like the style (I do, even though I prefer a good Burgundy), it is a real winner. I don't know that Cali Pinot gets any more flamboyant than this. 5-12-17-8: 92/100.

  The wine starts with generous aromatics of flowers and cherry. In mouth it remains young with that violet, cherry and cedar wood. Finishes with strawberry.
