  • Decanted. Now 45 min after decant. Subtle but nice artists of tart apples, barely ripe pineapples, minerals and herbs. Palate w tart apples, unripe pineapples, nice minerals, herbs. Excellent, juicy acids. Medium body. Nice finish of tart apples, until pineapples, and minerals. Lovely balance where all the components are harmonious with nothing sticking out. Not the most complex in terms of flavor but the balance is pretty amazing. This is just good. And a steal for $17 that I got this on sale. Should have bought much more to be the house white.....As the wine warms, the flavors and intensity flatten out a bit. Would drink this wine no warmer than cellar temp and really, a bit colder for best balance.

  • 1h after opening. Lovely, expressive aromas of just ripe pineapples, tart apples, herbs. Palate w gala apples, just super pineapples, some herbs, nice minerals. Excellent acids on a medium body. Excellent concentration. Nice moderately long finish of fruit, minerals and a touch of herbs. There's a lot of impact in flavor, its concentration, on the palate. Lacks some complexity but not really expecting that here. It's the liveliness with the palate impact that really grabs me here. This is flat out delicious. Nicely done and a steal for its price point. 90+

  • Very very pale
Delicate nose of violet and sherbet – feels very fresh, alive, and spritzy. Fresh and young, showing some white fruits (pear), a touch of earth and pretty peachy notes.

The palate has a great juicy quality, good intensity, bright acidity and some mineral grip that has a lovely coating of fruity sweetness.

  • 11% vol
    Very pale (lemon) appearance
Super pure nose of crushed violets, salty lemon citrus and delicate white peach. Perfumed, very attractive, classically delicate.

There is a touch of CO² on the palate, which shows great intensity, and pronounced juicy, mouth-watering acidity. Very clean, plenty of zip and concentrated pockets of lime citrus, slate, and fragrant talc and violets. Delicious.

  • AP 07 21. Screwcap. Entirely from the Graacher Himmelreich, spontaneous fermentation, 11% ABV. Essentially a dry wine, but with more fruit character than the Trocken. Initially very dry and minerally, with green bitters on the finish. It takes more than a day in the decanter to show its full expression. Clean and bright on the nose, with spicy slate and fruit of white peach, lemon rind and blackcurrant; there is a gentle sweetness on the bright and minerally palate; the finish is all green apple skin and lime zest. Attractive now with lots of aeration - not really sure how this will develop.
