PnP then drunk over two evenings, during which it showed different faces, depending on temperature, food etc., which speaks for its quality. Classic and subtle Mosel nose, but after more time in the glass could show an intense fruit sweetness. On the palate it was subtly sweet, with an intense mineral core and a long finish, which sometimes was clearly on citrus fruit/lemon sorbet. With cheese it was singing.

11% vol Intriguing nose: herby and soft, fragrant (not floral) but air brings in the flowers, especially violets and talc. Feels compact and maybe wants a little time? Nice richness on the palate, a softer feel with some creaminess and silky textures. There is some excellent mineral tang, and the acidity builds! More violets and herb flavours, very complex, a little salty and savoury in parts. Great energy and superb length of flavour. It gets better and better which suggests it might want a little cellaring or decanting. Stony dry finish.

Home from Mosel, I had to retaste the first wine of our trip - so nice QPR. Yellow fruit, a very fresh acidity, and a nice minerality as well. Not extremely complex but the glass is quickly being emptied.

Incredible QPR - pear, slate, citrus. Not that complex but extremely easy-drinking.

Another good choice beteen trocken and kabinett. Good concentration and balance with a touch of sweetness.
