Popped and poured. Very deep purplish ruby, opaque, viscous and slow legs. The nose is very ripe and bold, expressive, confit vignola cherries, blueberries, raspberry coulis, cedarwood, chocolate ganache, sweet tobacco, damp earth, mint, vanilla, cinnamon sticks, lead pencil, leather. The wine is full bodied, with medium high acidity and a cool minerality. Beautifully powerful yet silky tannins, followed by ripe black and red fruits, tobacco, vanilla, baking spices, oak. Very velvety and chewy, with massive concentration and a "big style" (15%). Very good lenght and drinking nicely in this primary stage. Probably won't reach its peak until 5/7 years from now, but will keep gracefully for decades with its structure. Very nice modern Saint Emilion. The wine is made of 96% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, aged in 40% new barrels.

Ripe, round, lush forward and fruity, the wine is packed with chocolately, plums, espresso and licorice from top to bottom. The rich, concentrated, layers of plush, polished fruits linger on your palate which is a good thing, as they are delicious. Drink from 2023-2040.

Darkly fruited nose - possibly some ripe CF in here? Inviting; smooth, rich, opulent. Quite a lush style, all fruit covering the structure. Grippy tannin on the finish. 90-92
