This is very similar in style and quality level to the recently tasted 1er crus from Gevrey: Heresztyn Mazzini, Duroche etc. Concentrated dark cherries, blueberries, sous bois, earth, violets, forest red berries and pomegranate on the finish. A wow wine, with impeccable winemaking and purity. Very elegant and concise use of oak. Longish finish.

IPNC Weekend 2023; 7/26/2023-7/31/2023: Medium drak red color. Small glass. Damp earthiness on the nose with pomegranate, raspberry, perfumed, funk, dried spices, vinyl. The palate is earthy too, cherry, pomegranate, funk, fresh crused herbs, satiny texture and tannins. Very good.

First Cornish Point 2020 excels! Dark ruby and translucent in the glass. V expressive nose, flowers, violets, plums and dark cherries, hints of spice, earth and green notes. Palate is medium-bodied, bright acidity, ripe dark fruit, fine tannins. Plenty of complexity, bright future. Seriously delicious, clear cellaring potential.

Australian and new Zealand tasting (Copenhagen): Tasted 10 different cuvees from Leeuwin Estate and Felton Road.
This wine. More savoury style than the others but less than vintage 2019. No notes taken.
