Impressions from "Perspektive Wein" fair (Wagenhallen, Stuttgart): Glass: White wine *** brief notes for my own memory from tasting sip. No rating *** Beautiful representation of the Juffer Sonnenuhr. So tempting and delicious already, drinks beautifully right now and for the next 2 decades. 92+

Drunk over three nights and it continued to unwind and improve. Lots of spritz at first but nothing a serious bout of shaking couldn't cure. Pure nectarine and lime fruit, a stony mineral edge, slightly creamy textured midpalate and a lovely balance of clean sweetness with tight, present acidity. A very nice drop now with the potential to turn into something altogether more complex and profound.

Prior bottle was 17 months ago and this wine continues to show quite well. White peach, tart nectarine and a very pretty steak of saline and minerals on the nose. Nearly medium bodied with white peach upfront combined with an excellent burst of acidity. Adds rounded white apple and deeper white peach through the middle. Backside is an exciting blend of tart notes, especially lemon and citrus with mineral qualities through the lengthy finish. These tart notes contrast really well with the white tropical highlights on the far backside. Evolving almost exactly along the lines I'd hoped with the acidity remaining vibrant, the fruit continuing to show definition while allowing complexity to shine through. These will be hard to resist, but I'll plan to open my next bottle in Q1 2024.

This is extremely young. Honeysuckle, apple, crushed rocks, some petrol and flint, some spritz on the palate, very nicely balanced sugar and acidity. Put this away for quite a while and you have a great wine!

Lovely Riesling. Nice balance of acidity and sweetness. I taste green apple, nectarine and citrus. Creamy at the end.
