Back in NL dinner (Terroir Utrecht, NL): [Restaurant purchase] At Terroir, Utrecht. Medium+ intensity with bee-wax, vanilla, ceder, nutmeg, unripe mango, peach. Medium+ acidity and a long finish. Great

Front end of the palette reminds me a lot of Chave blanc. Very well made white that I think is relatively approachable now, but will probably benefit from additional aging.

Telmo Rodriguez masterclass Utregs Wijnhuis (Utregs Wijnhuis): Felt a bit closed at this stage, despite the double decanting. Spices, soft lemon and lime, pear. Medium+ acidity, long finish. As I’m curious to see how it ages I bought a 2009 double magnum, let’s see!

Poweful, rich and dense, lemonpeel, apricot, hay, nutmeg, vanilla, peach, melon, long finish and high complexity, needed quite some air to open up.
