Petroleum, tropical fruit, pear and pineapple. A slight hint of mineral, an incredibly fine acidity with a sweetness that makes the wine well-balanced without any bitterness whatsoever. The residual sweetness makes it a perfect match for Asian dishes with a bit of spiciness.

delicate and sweet but not overpoweringly so - could do with a tad more acidity - it'll be interesting to see how it develops

Light, canned pears, tropical notes. Better day 3. Lacks some length.

A bit more acidity would have been nice.

This is great Saar Riesling for sure, but for me in many vintages "overdelivering" for a Kabinett. The wine has Spätlese density and weight.
