Translucent brick red colour. Typical, mostly savoury nose of marinated cherries, tomato and olive paste and herbs. Equally typical and powerful palate defined by mouth packering tannins and acidity and a very long finish. Very rustic in nature but highly satisfying. It's exactly what it is supposed to be, an old school mouth watering xinomavro.

Spicy nose. On palate, super tannic, very spicy (pepper, cumin, cardamom), very little fruit which I would describe as blueberried. Very earthy. Way too tight imo. M body. M- acidity. Restaurant paired with spicy lamb... not a bad pairing. On its own, not great.

Interesting. I certainly see why folks describe this as Nebbiolo-like. Lighter ruby color. Nose has rose, wild herbs and red fruit. A bit of worchestershire. Some dirt. The nose is fantastic. Tight, acidic and very tannic. Underfruited on the palate. I have no experience with this grape so I don’t know if time will mellow and broaden thmgs. Love the nose. The palate is a bit rough. (88). If this ages well, could be really cool.

Medium garnet. A typical rustic xinomavro with a dominant herbaceous character on the nose (olive and tomato paste) which i personally like. Hints of dried herbs (thyme), pungent spices (licorice) and strawberry jam. Same aromatic character on the palate with medium(+) flavor intensity. Medium-bodied with high acidity and high tannins (a little bit dry). It needs food! Relatively short finish. Pretty nice xinomavro to celebrate the international xinomavro day!
