German Riesling (Five Way Cellars, Paddington): Medium minus intensity aromas of earth and clay, muted fruit shows a little unripe stone fruit. Juicy acid, a little texture (not as much as the Burklin Wolf) touch of stone fruit, medium length <shrugs>

Very good value. Fresh and fruity aroma in the direction of apricot. Taste is lemon/lime with minerality in the exit. Good alone, with a fresh acidity that is only barely balanced by a small amount of residual sugar. Will also be a good match with seafood, fish and light meats.

This is pretty darn good - exceptional value. Dry Riesling that shows excellent flavor depth, crisp minerality and juicy drinkability. Stone fruits and a slight peaty element are enticing and fresh. Drinking out of the gate with a decant - should last for years. I’m hard pressed to think of a better house white. Ridiculous bargain at $20ish. (91)

Has the classic Riesling smell to it. Languid on the mid palate, soft and fun. Better on second taste.
