Offley and Ferreira Pairings (Sammamish, Washington): Bottled in 2013. Amber-orange in color. Notes of light red fruit and herbs on the nose with some light chocolate notes underneath. Rich, complex palate with orange spice and herbal notes. Long finish with well-balanced acidity.

Bottled in 2011. Strong coper color. Maple syrup, cinnamon, honey, and some earthy notes. Smells so "fresh"! .... ah yes, grapefruit. Super complex without getting any obvious tired notes (eg. No VA, etc). Thick texture. Huge wave of maple and honey. Wow! Huge acidity keeps everything in balance. Extremely long nutty finish. One of my favorite Krohn vintages, and this bottle is one of the best!

A friend turns 50: Previous note smack on. It's tawny in color and tastes like dried fruits and maybe some nuts and a hint of fruitcake I suppose. Suspect if you had it in 50 years it would drink the same.

This is still holding up great- this bottle had perfect cork. I think it’s at peak now but no rush. A 44 yr vintage tawny from krohn always a treat!
