Pop and pour, no sediment. Drank over 90 minutes. Good full dark fruit flavours with some pepper notes. Quite firm on the finish. Solid malbec and good value.

Medium plus shows white pepper, black plum, menthol, anise, blackberry. Palate is spicy, redhots, peppercorn, blackberry again, black cherry, soft herbs, nicely fresh as well, medium tannins and acidity. Solid choice.

Good $13 Valle de Uco Mendoza Malbec '14 Dominio del Plata Ben Marco. Mid-dark garnet; blackberry, prune, pomegranate nose; mid-soft body; easy drinking; soft tannins. Appetizer and party wine.

Gave 90m air before drinking and fairly consistent experience with prior note, though giving air is advised.
Deep, almost inky Purple color. Lovely bold aromas of plum, chocolate, sour cherry, violet, and oak. Medium-full body of dark fruit and chocolate flavors and lush texture. Acid is just a bit more tart than would be ideal. Tannins are fine-grained and add good structure. The finish is unfortunately limited, surprising given how much promise as the wine shows at the start.
Good QPR, good weekday drinker, but nothing remarkable.

Similar to last tasting note. Seems to be at end of drinking window.
