Earthy and tart on the nose and palate. High level of acidity makes it food friendly, but in general I'd say it has not aged very gracefully. Drink up if you have any.

Didn't show too well in a field of younger burgs at Beth's tasting. Nice notes of earth and smoky cherry, but also thin and acidiic. Will it improve? I wish I could predict that.

Bought on a whim from Winebid and glad I did. This is a lovely mature burgundy, cherry garnet centre with serious bricking towards the rim. Mature on the nose, with lots of "barnyard"/"sous-bois", still with a cherry/floral core underneath that makes it complex and enticing. Light bodied but with a lovely cherry/strawberry sweetness in the mid-palate before the smooth, dry low-acid, low tannin finish. A little short on the finish, but with no bitterness. Not sure how much longer this would go, but for a very modest price this was an excellent bottle.

Fully mature and quite lovely burgundy, with floral and mineral aromas, rounded flavors of herbs, cherry and spice. A bit short on the finish.
