The wine has a floral scent with tart red strawberry fruit, and a little bit of spice. It does not have a lot of depth, but it is pleasant for current quaffing.

Bottle 1448g – a bit much. Aromas of elevated intensity: tart red fruit, wild strawberry, red currant, herbal and floral top notes, hint of smoke. Dry, with elevated fresh acidity, modest grippy tannins, darker fruit on the palate, full bodied, 13.5°. Spicy and turns savory towards the finish. For a second I thought it was going mousy, but thankfully no.

Bright, juicy, quaffable, delicious. Light in body, lots of acid, just enough grip to hold up to food. Great with a slight chill. Not an especially serious version, but darn tasty all the same. One to drink young, I think.

WSET practice night with Bas (en Lennart) (Zeist): [Tasted blind] Doubted between new world PN and a beaujolais and went for the wrong guess. Light ruby red, medium- intensity on the nose with black currant, black cherries, herbs, red fruit. Medium acidity, medium- tannins, medium bodied, medium- finish
