  An excellent Barbaresco from a strong Barolo producer. Beautiful polished garnet reflects playful light in the glass. Red berry, dried cherry, leather and hints of herbs on the nose. Needs some time to get past the firm tannins and bright acidity—nothing unusual for a young Nebbiolo but a well structured wine that will do well with more age or a couple hours to breathe. On the palate, the young fruit and bright acidity give the wine energy and hint to a beautifully balanced wine in 5 years or so.
