  • Not the best bottle of this favorite wine.

  • Steely nose with piney herbaceous lift and slight acetone touch. Lemony fruit with slight oxidation, animal notes, honeyed florals, butter, vanilla and clove.
Dry and fullbodied on the palate. Rather steely cut in fact and almost tannic leathery feel. Some more nutty maccadamia-like toast in the long aftertaste.
Linear and energetic. Quite youthful in fact. Very good stuff that will clearly further improve.

  • Very young beauty with golden straw colour and beautiful rounded fresh yellow fruity aromas with new car tires galore and a timid mature hint. Also a small flirtatious oxidized angle to underline the longevity of the style.
Per os this enters as a mellow, fat, wide, annonymous wine. Mid-palate is (currently) muted and the finish explodes with the M+ acids breaking through the veil. Should evolve well.
    A very young wine: keep!
M.E.:s btl. Thankyou for the fabulous treat!

  • A private lunch (Restaurant Moments *, Barcelona, Spain): Full but lively straw yellow without traces of orange or gold; excellent complexity and depth on the nose, wood, candied lemon, nuts, cheese rind, slightly oxidative but fresh and lemony at the same time; on the palate incredibly fresh for a 15 year old white, sappy, tight and energetic, almost salty, with typical Viura-acidity and woody/nutty flavours; good length with almost Chablis-like minerality.
