  Some very good descriptions in other CTers notes. Light yellow, medium plus body with oiliness and almond skins, touch of ginger and lavender. Medium minus acid -- wish it had a bit more. Nice for a glass or two. Would like to try again with better food pairings. Had with Mediterranean mezze, ceviche, and stuffed dates.

  I love thw white wines from Friuli and this is a great example. 100% Friulano I believe. A rich oily wine with bags on fruit and a toasty almond edge to the wine that is just north of medium bodied. First bottle from the case of this 2019 and I don't see bottle ageing improving it at all. It's very good and ready to go right now and over the next couple of years.

  C: Very light, clear
  S: Pear, apple, perfume, floral, lemon, faint smell overall (disagree),
  T: Bright acidity at first, tangy up front, a little astringent (not much), a little watery/thin toward the finish, carmel/oak finish, light/medium body. The tangy/astringent component is the highlight. A little grassy.
  R: Unlike our usual varietals, so in that sense, buy again and try with different pairings (one), "it's fine" (other)

  Lavender, green stems, lemon oil, ginger. Surprisingly rich mouth feel.
