One of my fave's at this tasting. Pale straw color and chablis-like: flinty, balanced, a little creamier perhaps than Chablis would be but still the flavors are right and every sip seems to echo back at you in a quietly profound way. Fresh and yet evolved, though no mature flavors.

typical chardy bardy from down under, ripe bananas, vanilla, butterscotch in the nose, additional ripe yellow fruits as peaches, melons in the palate, creamy, a little bit wood, fullbodied, middle acidity, I think at his peak May 2011, drink it now, pleasant residual sweetness, I like powerful white wines but this style is to barrique dominated even if the Australian would say this is elegant, for a creamy sauce a good partner

Great wine. It is quite subtle and i wouldnt serve too cold. This is elegant, precise, balanced, and has some subtle complexity. Some oak to balance the precise lemon oil, hazelnut, slight mineral, and other subtle flavors. This doesn't stand out in any regard except balance and elegance and the fact that it draws you back to it continually. This is like a mix between well made CA and burgundy.

Great chard. Very burgundian versus cali. Really balanced and elegant, mYbe missing a little extra complexity.
