Tasting with Arthur Larmandier of Larmandier-Bernier (Vertus (in the Cote de Blancs)): Disgorged a few months ago in February. This is typically a wine for me that I try and understand, and often I don't get it, meaning for all the wines of the range that I appreciate and enjoy, I don't always feel the same for this cuvee. This is 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Gris. Strawberry, lots of concentration and very spicy to me. This seems very linear at this stage, too. My thoughts on this cuvee remain mixed, as I don't take to the flavors of the wines in a way that I would want to. I'll give this another shot when the bottles reach the US market.
