Really beautiful, dried fruit, figs, dates, raisins cherry, leather, smoke. Pure but supple acidity and still quite spicy, grippy tannin, but not grating. Quite elegant and floral too. Probably the best Brunello I've had before, and I think some age has helped smooth it out.

Complex and integrated nose of raisined fruit, leather, sweet spices, marmalade, and earthy mineral. Bold flavours with very good replays; an evolving profile with a big, warming and gripping finish. Attractive now but it has the stuffing to go on for years yet. 4.5/5

The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and fig. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis), cinnamon and stoniness. The body is full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

Smooth fruit followed by delicious earthy elements of tobacco & leather. Very nice and enjoyable sangiovese
