A well made wine with incredible freshness and adequate complexity. Nose a mix of floral and stone fruit notes. Quite aromatic, almost in a muscat or viognier sense. But incredible acidity and minerals on palate walk back from that and introduces a mix of herbal and citrus tones. White pepper.

Bright greenish yellow. Fragrant nose of fresh melon and peaches. Nothing complex, just a straightforward Veronese wine using 40% Garganega, 15% Trebbiano toscano, 15% Trebbianello, 30% Cortese. Finishes slightly sweet. Unfortunately, winemaking technology did not exist in Romeo and Juliet's time at the quality we have today, but this wine could well represent their youthful (yet challenged) relationship. A refreshing spring and summer drink. NOTE: Scoring this wine at 75, as a previous reviewer has done, is unusually harsh.

Well balanced, fresh easy style. Goes well with risotto con fruite di mare. Enough body to go with more fatty carbonara as well. Flexibel wine, easy to love.

VC Wednesday night group (Ypsilanti, MI): Very aromatic, with fresh green apple and melon. Bright acidity extends the finish. Lovely, and an excellent value.
