  An absolutely suprising bottle of wine - in the glass the faintest of amber around the edge - this is a 25 year old bottle - on the nose a funky barnyard and black fruits aroma which eventually yeilds to what I can only call an alcohol smell - in the mouth there is a mellow feel and an almost port like taste of black fruit and tannin, somewhat foursquare - This is more Rhone like than Burgundy - I have had many 1980 Burgundies but none like this.This has many more years of life.
