I was consuming this bottle over four days and the wine held up perfectly well.
Very ripe and voluptuous - looking at you, 14% Alc - plus a lot of new oak are making this really hard for me to identify as Pinot Noir. On the nose ripe dark cherry, some blackberry, little earthiness and all is outshone by tons of oak. In the mouth the wine has a good body, quite a lot of tannin (for PN at least) and a fruit-driven finish.
This is my first time with this producer, so I am not sure if this style speaks more of the producer or more of the (hot) vintage. It is very good wine, but I am missing the aromatics and elegance, at least at the current stage, in this wine. Therefore, I will buy 2020 Burgundy cautionary after this.

A Sextet of 2020 Sigaut Chambolle-Musigny (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Ruby. More obvious oak on the nose. Medium weight. Ripe black fruit, much more soil than the Derrière Le Four. Ground espresso flavor, excellent acidity, grainy tannins, and a strong dose of wood to finish. I did not care for the balance here as it was the one wine in the range where the oak really stuck out.

A really top wine for his price, better than a lot of premiers crus more expensive (92-94)
