This bottle was slightly better than the previous one, drinkable at least. Leather, soy, a touch of very faint fruit, and an occasional whiff of plastic and chlorine, like an old swimming pool liner. Lots of acid and tannin remain, but by the time they soften this wine will be funky, alcoholic, and dead. Drink now, for what it's worth.

To the eye, this shows some depth and freshness. Nose unfolds with Brussels sprouts, celery, and Absorbine, with very faint, smoky tobacco beneath. Very tart palate, though a bit of fruit hangs on through the oddly sweet finish. Not very pleasant.

Shows similar to the Chaumes, except slightly juicier, and it starts out with an unusual whiff of chlorine that eventually blows off for the most part, but still something seems off-kilter here. Not good.
