👃 bruised apple, brioche, pear. With a little time or air, a very nice floral scent shows up. First time ever for me. 👅 Lemon, lemon pith, tart apple, creamy mousse, long and very mineral finish. Only 12%abv but a ton of alcohol apparent at serving temperature so I'd suggest serving at less than 12C... Maybe 7C.
Overall, it's ok but not a repeat buy for me.
The next day, the wine rounded out to more sweet red apple on the mid-palate and less mineral on the finish. The alcohol taste (not the actual effects!) blew off as well. I like lean, but I have to say this was better on the second day.

Annual Champagne Tasting (November 11 2023): Blend: 54% Pinot Noir and 46% Chardonnay. Fresh, light minerality, sea shells, and flowers on the nose. On the palate, a balanced toasty, brioche maturity/richness and flowery freshness. All around, very delicious and great complexity. Clearly 2012 is a great year for JP.

What a gorgeous smelling wine. Tropical, floral, distinct honey on the nose. On the palate, balance, good finish. This is a big step up from the NV version from this house. Love it.

A bit too lean for my taste. Nice bubbles, nose of citrus but there is a residual off taste for me, maybe to much yeasty flavor.

Another Costco win here. Really excellent vintage Brut for the price point.
Slightly bruised, green & red apple, Bosc pear, grapefruit, lime, lemon, pineapple juice, malt, cream, ginger ale, tropical green & yellow melons, white spice, delicate; chalk, limestone, volcanics, bread dough, nice yeastiness, spring floral bouquet, jasmine, soft yet crispy acidity, well; balanced, structure, knitted and evenly & excellently polished finish lasts two-minutes.
