My wow wine of the night, so as the other people on the table. Clear golden color, intense nose of complex aroma, silky and month full body, mineral driven. We left in bottle for 1.5 hours, and drank over two hours. The wine changed with time, getting better and better during our enjoyment. Felt the honey in my last drop. Superb!

PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass ("Root" day): Medium golden to the eyes.
Hay, strong golden citrus fruits like grapefruits, airy stone fruits like apricots. Yogurt, sulphurous notes that suggest a style leaning towards traditional Burgundy white.
Minerality driven, good acidity and very nicely persistent on the finish.
94 points.

Food: Japanese Duration: 3.5 hours Condition: perfect Aroma: lily, sweet potato Notes: palate of this classy Marc Colin is full of caramel, butter and chestnut. However the palate is obviously not very well integrated yet due to its relatively young age. You can definitely taste the great potential and endurance in this young wine and I think we should not touch this before 2020!

Dinner at JPs: Lovely straw yellow color. Still very young and fresh and no signs of premox at all. Someone mentioned how oily this wine was maybe even like a batard. Maybe more to do with the 02 vintage but for me utterly elegant. 93 pts today among tough company but with upside.
