Popped and poured. The 2018 pours a light garnet with a transparent core. Medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, developing with a pretty bouquet of raspberry, strawberry, red flowers, a little tar, some herbs, some baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acids. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. Like many 2018’s, this shows the lighter, more aromatic side of Nebbiolo however, I find it no less enjoyable. This one simply lacks the power many come to expect. Drink now through 2038.

Beautiful pale color. Elegant nose, strawberry, raspberry, a little floral. Shitload of tannin, m+ acid. Really lovely and balaned. Dried strawberry, rooibush, fresh.

elegant, lighter side of Barolo from a "Burgundian" vintage, cherry, spice, floral notes, moderate tannins
