color starting to show some browning around the edge. Nose shows floral, tobacco, herbaceousness, and some caramel. Palate is mastly the caramel, with some tobacco as well. Nice mouthfeel. Finish has some harsh acids that ruin it. This has faded a bit, but still enjoyable until the harsh finish.

Another great bottle, and very similar to a bottle opened nearly three years ago. Lovely perfume of ripe strawberry with notes of white pepper and wet rock. Tons of action on the palate -- juicy strawberry and wild berry, offset by Indian spice and minerals. Bright and lively, with refershing acidity. Not hint of alcohol heat noted by other tasters. Again, I might guess pinot tasting this blind were it not for the tell-tale strawberry profile. Excellent.

Not a pop and pour wine. needs time to open up. Decant for about an hour or two before consuming. nice example of a california grenache. true grenache lovers can appreciate this bottle for what it offers. sweet fruit, acid and spice in balance. heat can be a bit dominating but that's what's expected in this varietal. balance is key. this offering is close.

I like this wine a lot more when paired with BBQ meats. A bit more bottle age really helped with the fruit and flower profiles.

light in body, but nice fruit. This had a nice nose and drank well over a couple of days.
