35% Nebbiolo, 25% Merlot, 25% Barbera, 15% CS. And you can really feel the influence of each grape, which is cool.
Violet petals, fresh tarragon, fresh chopped parsley, sour cherries, and ripe raspberries on the nose. This is definitely where I feel the Nebbiolo's influence the most. Surprisingly doesn't smell very oaky. Medium + intensity of aromas. A little dust on the palate, followed by some oak influenced flavors - tobacco, milk chocolate, smoked wood - and some anise and dried tarragon. Finishes with the fruit, which is mostly ripe strawberries and ripe red cherries. Overall tastes pretty different than it smells - showing the influence of Barbera, Merlot and, of course, oak. Medium + intensity of flavors. Texturally rounded.
Medium + body with medium acid and medium - tannins. Drinking pretty well now, I'm not sure I'd really want to age it much longer. Maybe 2-3 years to see how if the oak on the palate evens out a little.

Brilliant garnet color and nose of fresh cut violets with a hint of baking spices. Out of the bottle the wine is very bright and a tad thin. Decanted for 30 minutes and it softened up a bit and displayed a hint of sour cherry, herbs, and cedar. By itself, it could use some for depth and longevity, but served with a basic spaghetti dinner, it improved. Definitely a food wine. Overall, this wine can benefit from being exposed to some air, or maybe some more time down in the cellar. Would not go out of my way to purchase more, and had better at a lower price point.

Was expecting more but still a decent wine. Got a little bit better over time and interestingly was better slightly on the colder side.

Thought this was excellent, although perhaps not excellent QPR. No detailed notes, but I have another couple of bottles.

Mid-week quaff. No notes in the moment, but enjoyed by all. Revisit.
