Already starting to trend to gold. Nice tension between honeyed richness and food-balancing acidity. Not my favorite flavor profile, and I wouldn't hold it, but drinks very well now.

Full honeyed apple nose and initial oily richness in the mouth gives the impression that this wine is going to be quite heavy but it’s actually fairly light and dry on the tongue. Good depth of flavor but I find it a bit one dimensional and bland. I'm usually a big fan of Texier wines but not this bottle.

(Eric Texier Cotes-du-Rhone-Brezeme Blanc) This is 100% Marsanne. A nose of honey and apple greets you enthusiastically right out of the gates which leads to rich, ripe and dense flavors that are dazzlingly pure. This is a very rich wine but light as a feather. This really impressed with that rich/light contrast. Really mouthfilling wine.
