Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 90 points

  • ABV: 13.0%. Textbook Provençal rosé nose of salinity and minerality surrounded by red fruits. There a little bit of fruit on the mid-palate, but the acidity is still a bit discombobulated. A very refreshing wine with a lot of potential, but I think this bottle will taste better tomorrow after being opened for 24 hours.

10/16/2022 - Raised the score by three points (from 91 to 94). I was right. The nose on this wine evolved overnight and it smells beautiful on day two. The salinity and minerality are still there, but the fruit tones are now more expressive and kind of reminds me of a watermelon-flavored Jolly Rancher. The acidity is now more integrated on the mid-palate and lifts the layers of fruits (think peaches, nectarines, and pomegranates). The lengthy finish leaves you craving for another sip. I'd say wait and don't open this bottle for another year or two, but if you're impatient, decant it for at least a hour. Note: Paired very well with Mediterranean cuisine.

  • This is pleasantly refreshing and fruity but a bit bland. Quite good.
