Tasted at McCarthy & Schiering. This is an oddball blend of Pinot Blanc and white Pinot Noir. This has a leesy nose with not much else. On the palate this shows intense lemon with stunning acidity. Serious pucker power! All that said, this is not terribly enjoyable albeit somewhat interesting.

Browning, tar notes , structured. Resolved tannins. Not as balanced. Lacks complexity. Sweet finish. Fades with time.

La Paulée de San Francisco - Gala Dinner (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief note. An intense and eccentric wine with great power and concentration, with an unusual array of fruit flavors that is probably helped by the edge provided by the Aligote.
