very nice Aligote (at least I think it was Aligote)... great acidity and nice lemons on the palate... lifted but with just a little rounded feel in the mouth (like a hint of the oilyness of No. Rhone viognier, but without any petrol taste)... people seemed to do Ok with it, even tho most are straight up Chard drinkers (who at least enjoy our Chablis and PM/CM etc)

Quite possibly one of the most impressive white wines tasted in a day full of great wines. Notes of peach, nectarine, crushed rock, and a hint of salinity. The acidity and balance of this wine were just as impressive on the palate as they were on the nose. Awash in tropical and stone fruits with bee pollen, and something that's less intense, but reminds me of candied ginger. Outstanding!!!! It seems like we really just hit this wine in the perfect spot. I couldn't have been happier...unless I had more. That would definitely make me happier.

BYO Centropa (Centropa, Oslo, Norway): Ponsot MSD på ren aligoté! Mørkere strågul. Ganske intens, flintpreget duft med fine fattoner. Rik stil, svakt oljete munnfølelse. stram syre. Flintaktig og mineralsk smak, sitrusdrevet frukt, god kompleksitet

The best Aligoté I ever had - nice complexity, lemon , minerality and slight hints of salt. Was sweet spot but could hold up further. Beautiful wine

Quite nice Aligote. Intense, stony, strong citrus. A bit natural with whiff of VA on the nose. Good now.
