  This has turned out SO well. It is relaxed but serious. The tannins are now soft and there is still good acidity. Lovely cedary notes. Really this is in its considerable prime, and it is a very enjoyable bottle. Delighted, but sad that this is my last bottle. Well well worth the wait.

  24 years old, but still very solid and ready to drink. Do not decant, just enjoy after opening the bottle. Meets Bordeaux - style expectations. not very dense and powerful but still a great wine. We had with a variety of grilled meat.

  Schönes Bukett nach Cassis und CS, am Gaumen harmonisch mit seidenen Tanninen, wieder Cassis, schöner Trinkfluß, alles an seinem Platz, elegant.Auf dem Höhepunkt.

  Dad's and Cabs 2021 - hosted by Pappas Bros. Steakhouse (Pappas Bros. Steakhouse - Houston Westheimer): Quick tasting note - wow - 21 years and silky smooth with still tannins to stand longer. Fruit is still evident but softened, medium finish. Very elegant.

  A very lovely, mature, medium bodied St Estephe. slightly amber edge, but good depth of coloring for 20 years. nice, complex, spicy cassis nose. medium bodied black currants and cabernet flavors with a medium finish featuring pleasant fruit and slightly sandy tannins. nowhere near over the hill, but why wait? drink up!
