Deep garnet, no bricking to be seen. Bacon and violets on the nose. Deep raspberry and cherry flavors, pleasingly peppery. Our guests were amazed that it was the same grape as the Cornas we opened first. Just delicious. 12% abv.
Note that it only lists Michel as the winemaker. Stephane was still a teenager and some years away from taking over from his Dad.
