A mature colour, mahogany; still very fresh on the palate, with strawberry and redcurrant fruit and more mature savoury flavours. Long on the finish. A fine example, fully mature but with life in it still.

Served blind. Very earthy and so very Gevrey, animale notes, autumn leaves, spicy mature red fruit, some notes of juniper. A hearty winter red Burg to drink in a deep armchair. Guessed Jadot CSJ 02. An honest old school red Burg.

Quite a deep colour; fine, concentrated mature fruit, harmonious, well balanced and long. The wine just got better and better. A fine Burgundy, which shows no sign of aging.

Good red fruit. Not as developed as the other bottles. Feel this needs more time. A bit closed vs the 99 Meo in the next glass. Red and dark fruits which are good just not showing its stuff yet.

A fairly mature, mid-red colour; quite soft strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant fruit, nicely rounded and with good length. Initially somewhat restrained, particularly on the finish, but it opened out to give a wine that was soft, elegant, poised and very long.
