The top herbal note of fennel. Then, acacia flower, and flinty reduction. Crunchy fruit of green apple and green pear turns riper and more luscious in midpalate. Strong salinity. Limestone-influenced texture. Fennel-like green undertone runs throughout, which can be intriguing or distracting. Honeyed lemon and lemon pith ending.
A little crunchier and greener expression of Voulorent.

Les Portes d'Or de la Bourgogne - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (William Fèvre's Vineyards - Chablis): Walkaround tasting with producers. Elegant and minerally with lighter styled fruit, good enough density.

Tasted at La Paulee Los Angeles - a surprise. I don't typically buy this one, I am more of a Les Clos or Bougros person, but this was lovely.
