{screwcap, 12.5%} Lightish sort of garnet red. Youthful nose of tart red berries and a hint of white pepper. Equally tart and refreshing palate, all spice, pepper and savoury presence at a light/medium-bodied level. Little oak evident. Medium acid, and low grainy grape skin tannin. Hint of earth and tobacco emerges on the finish too. Dry. Short/medium length. Contains 5% Oseleta grapes, with corvina, rondinella, molinara making up the 70/20/5 remainder.

My Fair Verona (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): A little closed showing medium minus intensity aromas of slightly dense savoury cherry with a touch of alcohol prickle lends pepperiness, slight cream, savoury, meaty. Slightly woody drying tannic burr is a little too much for the fruit. Feels slightly out of whack. Meh.
