Excellent already, expressive nose with black fruits and pepper. Great acidity to balance the fine but grippy tannins; bramble, spice, tomato vines, grilled plums; oak on the medium+ ending. Young but extremely good already.

One of a kind project, Caberlot grape believed to be a natural crossing between CF and Merlot which is cultivated exclusively at Il Carnasciale and sold mostly in Magnums. Organically farmed, aged for 22 months in FR oak, 60% new and 16 months in bottle. Pronounced herbaceous and dense aroma of nettle, blackcurrants, blackberries, liquorice, black olives, bay leaves, violets, black pepper. Medium body, fresh, concentrated and herbaceous with deep multilayered flavours, slightly spicy, fine tannins, long finish.
