Smoky notes of dark berries, cherries, herbs, and a whiff of toast. This has a very nice presence about it. It's grippy, structured, juicy, and full of vibrancy. Turns spicy on the finish. Well done.

The Sixth Annual Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir (Houston, Texas): Retail $30. Under screw cap. Medium to dark color with dark fruit, spice, a touch of black pepper. Well-balanced on the palate with a fine weight and lovely fruit. Nice. Excellent. 92 Points.
