Paso Robles Winery Visits; 8/30/2023-9/1/2023: Light ruby core. Funky nose. Light to medium bodied. More savory than fruit with typical tree bark, lots of earth, excellent acidity, and dry tannic finish. Probably better blended to ameliorate the structure.

Nice hi toned red berry fruit. Bright acidity. Some spice. Cocoa. A refined style and not over the top like too many past wines.

Reds Tasting at Tablas Creek (Paso Robles) (Tablas Creek Winery): Very Good++/Excellent. Hinting at nice things to come. Surprising acidity upfront joins chocolate, mint. Nice to drink now but a bit disjointed. I want some to lay down.
