The note below describes it well. We will add: This wine has drive and balance. Savory dark cherry. Suggestions of white ground pepper. Lovely sense of salinity. We found this to be friendly, not excessively tannic, and quite nice right now, although obviously it has a long way to go. Very enjoyable over two nights at Café Beaujolais, Mendocino Village.

On the nose raspberry, strawberry, blackberry jam, cherry jolly rancher. Palate with cough syrup, salami, pine tar, sour Cherry, cranberry, some reductive notes, little vanilla, plum sauce. Acid is sharp and potent, tannins have a nice grip, finish is quite long and continues to develop after a sip. This is good now but had some integration in bottle to accomplish before I wager it is really singing. 5 years until next bottle gets opened.

Tight. Sour cherry. Needs a lot of time. Started to show after 1 hour decant
